ChatGPT의 교육적 접근을 통한 바디아트 디자인 개발 사례 연구: 초현실주의의 회화적 특성을 중심으로

4차 산업혁명과 함께 AI의 확산은 예술 창작과 교육에 혁신을 가져왔다. 특히 AI는 아이디어 발굴, 자료 분석, 디자인 지원 등에 활용되며, 뷰티 분야에서도 창의적 사고를 촉진하고 새로운 표현 방식을 탐구할 기회를 제공한다. 바디아트는 인간의 신체를 예술적 캔버스로 활용해 정체성과 감정을 표현하며, 초현실주의와 같은 예술 사조에서 영감을 받아 상징적이고 철학적인 메시지를 전달한다. 초현실주의는 꿈, 무의식, 상징 등 비현실적 세계를 표현하며 바디아트 디자인에 풍부한 영감을 제공하지만, 이러한 복합적 예술적 표현을 배우고 적용하는 것은 뷰티 전공 학생들에게 도전 과제가 된다. 바디아트는 인간 신체라는 매체의 특성상 고도의 창의성과 기술이 요구되며, 이 과정에서 ChatGPT와 같은 생성형 AI는 초현실주의의 특성을 체계적으로 이해하고 창의적인 디자인을 도출하는 데 중요한 도구로 활용될 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 ChatGPT를 활용하여 초현실주의 회화적 특성을 도출하고, 이를 기반으로 한 바디아트 디자인 개발 및 이에 따른 회화적 표현을 분석함으로써 ChatGPT를 활용한 뷰티 실기 교과목의 교육적 접근 방안을 모색하는 데 있다. 연구는 이론적 연구와 ChatGPT를 활용한 바디페인팅 교육 사례를 통해 진행되었다. 연구 결과, 바디아트 수업에서 초현실주의 대표 예술가 6명을 선정하고, 각 예술가의 대표 작품 5점씩 이미지를 수집해 ChatGPT를 활용한 회화적 특성을 분석하였다. ChatGPT를 통해 도출된 키워드를 바탕으로 총 6점의 바디아트 작품을 제작하였다. 각 작품들은 상징적 요소 배치, 색채 대비, 비현실적 형태와 공간 왜곡, 자연과 인간의 연계 등 초현실주의 회화적 특성을 반영하며 독창적인 표현을 구현했다. 이는 ChatGPT가 뷰티 교육에서 예술사조의 이해와 창의적 표현 개발에 유용한 도구로 활용될 수 있음을 보여준다. 또한, 학생들이 바디아트 디자인에 앞서 예술사조에 대한 심층적 이해를 돕고 창작 과정을 체계적으로 지원하는 데 기여할 수 있음을 시사한다.
Abstract
With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the proliferation of AI has brought innovation to artistic creation and education. AI has been utilized in idea generation, data analysis, and design support, fostering creative thinking and exploring new forms of expression, even in the beauty industry. Body art, which uses the human body as an artistic canvas to express identity and emotions, draws inspiration from art movements such as Surrealism, delivering symbolic and philosophical messages. Surrealism, characterized by the representation of dreams, the unconscious, and symbolism, provides abundant inspiration for body art design. However, mastering and applying such complex artistic expressions can be challenging for beauty major students, as working with the human body requires a high degree of creativity and skill. Generative AI tools like ChatGPT can serve as valuable resources for systematically understanding Surrealist characteristics and deriving creative designs. This study aims to explore educational approaches in beauty practical courses by leveraging ChatGPT to analyze Surrealist painting characteristics, develop body art designs based on these features, and analyze the resulting pictorial expressions. The research combines theoretical studies with case studies focused on body art designs derived from body painting classes utilizing ChatGPT. The results identified six prominent Surrealist artists and analyzed five representative works from each, using ChatGPT to extract pictorial characteristics. Based on the extracted keywords, six body art pieces were created, reflecting Surrealist traits such as symbolic element placement, color contrasts, unreal forms and spatial distortions, and the interplay between nature and humanity. These outcomes demonstrate that ChatGPT can be an effective tool for beauty education, enhancing students’ understanding of art movements and supporting the systematic development of creative and original expressions. Moreover, it highlights ChatGPT’s potential to aid students in gaining a deeper comprehension of art movements and structuring the creative process effectively in body art design.
