This study utilized the National Health Insurance Cohort 2.0 DB to analyze the occurrence, hospitalization days, and number of surgeries for ischemic heart disease, a significant disease among Koreans, from 2015 to 2019. The subjects were general participants and simplified notification participants who underwent health check-ups. Logistic regression models, zero-inflated negative binomial, and zero-inflated Poisson regression models were used to obtain predicted values and analyze relative risks. The analysis showed that, compared to general participants with no conditions related to past disease history, the relative risk for simplified notification participants without the six significant diseases in the past five years was lower than one across all age groups. Additionally, as the age of simplified notification participants increased, the occurrence of ischemic heart disease increased, and the number of hospitalization days for ischemic heart disease increased—however, the number of surgeries for ischemic heart disease varied by age group. Males had a higher probability of developing ischemic heart disease compared to females, but females tended to have more hospitalization days for ischemic heart disease than males. There was no difference in the number of surgeries for ischemic heart disease between males and females
