However, since it is premature to abolish the retirement age immediately, it is necessary to raise the retirement age in connection with the national pension age, and give full incentives to companies that continue to hire or rehire the elderly after the retirement age. It is also necessary to change the social atmosphere of stigmatizing the working senior as ‘greedy’ elderly who erode young people’s jobs. Rather, it is necessary to instill awareness that working on one’s own and economically self-reliance regardless of age is a diligent and sincere attitude that does not burden future generations and the state.
