인상주의의 회화적 특성이 반영된 바디아트 배경 디자인 개발 사례 연구: ChatGPT와 DALL-E의 교육적 활용을 중심으로

Impressionism, an artistic movement of the late 19th century, emphasized light and color, breaking from traditional painting techniques and profoundly influencing visual arts. Integrating Impressionist characteristics into body art creates dynamic visual experiences by utilizing the body’s curves and movements, offering new possibilities for artistic expression. Advances in digital technology enable the realization of fantastical and intangible designs, transcending physical limitations. Generative AI tools like ChatGPT and DALL-E enhance the creative process by providing innovative text-based ideas and unique image generation, playing a significant role in art education and research. This study explores the educational potential of ChatGPT and DALL-E in body art education, focusing on deriving Impressionist characteristics with ChatGPT and creating background designs with DALL-E for integration into body art. The methodology combined theoretical research with case studies on body art and background design using ChatGPT and DALL-E. Five Impressionist artists were selected, and five key works from each were analyzed with ChatGPT. Keywords from the analysis informed the creation of 12 body art background designs using DALL-E. The study highlights the potential of ChatGPT and DALL-E as educational tools in body art, offering new possibilities for AI-driven creative practices. Each work showcases diverse body art background designs based on Impressionist characteristics such as blurred outlines, natural light, depth, and the rhythm of light and color, creating an Impressionist atmosphere when combined with body art. This study suggests that the integration of ChatGPT and DALL-E can enhance the artistic quality of body art as an effective educational tool in beauty education. Additionally, it highlights how students can deepen and expand their expressive capabilities by recognizing the importance of harmonious background design.
