문법 학습자의 오개념 네트워크 분석 - ‘단어 형성법’을 대상으로 -

본고는 문법 학습자가 특정 개념에 대해 형성한 오개념이 다른 문법 개념을 이해하는 데 영향을 미치는 양상을 실증하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 네이버 지식인(iN)에 누적된 학습자들의 질의 텍스트를 분석의 대상으로 삼았는데, 해당 텍스트는 특정 문법 개념에 대한 자신의 오개념을 자연스럽게 노출하며 해당 오개념이 원인으로 작용하여 또 다른 문법 개념을 질의할 수밖에 없는 양상이 확인되기 때문이다. 일정한 절차와 요건에 따라 수집한 질의 텍스트 가운데 단어 형성법과 관련하여 학습자의 오개념이 확인되거나 단어 형성법이 질의의 대상이 되면서도 일정한 오개념이 노정된 경우를 분석하였다. 그 결과, ‘형태소에 대한 오개념 → 구개음화에 대한 이해 곤란’, ‘이형태에 대한 오개념 → 가변어, 품사 통용에 대한 이해 곤란’, ‘형식 형태소에 대한 오개념 → 음운 변동의 형태론적 조건에 대한 이해 곤란’, ‘형식 형태소에 대한 오개념 → 접사, 파생어에 대한 이해 곤란’, ‘파생 접사와 굴절 접사에 대한 오개념 → 합성어와 파생어에 대한 이해 곤란’, ‘파생 접사와 굴절 접사에 대한 오개념 → 관형사에 대한 이해 곤란’, ‘어근과 접사에 대한 오개념 → 합성어 및 파생어에 대한 이해 곤란’, ‘동일 모음 탈락에 대한 오개념 → 비통사적 합성어에 대한 이해 곤란’의 여덟 가지 경우를 추출할 수 있었으며, 이를 모종의 네트워크 형식으로 도식화하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the reality of grammar misconceptions of learners in the form of a network. This is because if the grammar concept exists in a complex relationship, grammar misconceptions will also exist in the learner's recognition in the form of a network. To this end, learners’ questions posted on specific community bulletin boards were analyzed, and grammar concepts related to word-formation were prioritized for analysis. In other words, it analyzed learners who have difficulty understanding grammar concepts related to word-formation because of misconceptions, or those who are hindered from understanding other grammar concepts due to misconceptions related to word-formation. As a result of the analysis, eight cases could be extracted, and they were presented schematically in the form of a network according to the boundaries between categories. Based on the results of this study, researches on grammar education that reveal the entire misconceptions network of grammar learners should be followed.
