정치적 관계 제약하에서 남북한 상호 윈윈 경제통합모형 개발에 대한 연구: 게임이론 접근법

This paper analyzes the co-win-win unified economic integration model between South Korea and North Korea based on the game theory. In real world, there is a huge gap of economic size between South Korea and North Korea. Also two regimes have highly tension of political issue as well. We need to relax this political tension and economic gap to develop two countries. Based on this motivation, I suggest and provide the co-win-win unified economic integration possibility by using game theory. I find as follows. First, under economic non-cooperation game and prisoner’s dilemma game, I find that South and North Korea have the preference of mutual economic non-cooperation rather than the combination of economic cooperation and economic non-cooperation. Second, I document that under the prisoner’s dilemma game, the South and North Korea could have more preference of economic cooperation between two countries. Third, I find that under stage-hunt game, South and North could have the economic cooperation if two Koreas have the trust or belief each other. This result implies the possibility of two Korea’s economic cooperation in terms of economic integration model.
