전남동부권 물류관련산업 산업재해 현황 및 저감 방안
Current status and reduction measures for industrial accidents in logistics-related industries in the eastern part of Jeollanam-do Port

초록
연구 목적 - 본 연구의 목적은 전남 동부권에서 발생하는 물류산업과 산업재해의 현황을 파악하고 이러한 산업재해를 줄일 수 있는 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 방법론 - 2013년부터 2022년까지의 10년간에 발생한 전남동부권 물류관련산업의 산업안전사고와 관련된 자료를 추출하여 전남 동부권 물류관련산업 사고의 특성을 파악하고 분석하였다. 연구결과 - 전남동부지역 물류산업 관련 기업들의 산업재해의 원인이 주로 인적 요인에 의한 것이 대부분인 경우가 많았다. 그러나 인적 요인에 의하지 않고 발생하는 산업재해의 경우, 그 원인은 설비나 장비의 노후화와 유지보수나 그 일정의 미준수, 그리고 물류기업들이 사용하는 도로 등을 비롯한 사회적 인프라의 노후화 등에서도 찾을 수 있었다. 시사점 - 인적 요인에 의한 산업재해의 경우에는 인적인 요소를 관리하는 방식의 산업 재해 저감 방안을 제시하였고, 비인적 요인에 의한 산업재해의 경우에는 기업들이 시설이나 장비, 특히 운송을 위해 사용하는 트럭과 같은 차량, 적재나 하역에 사용하는 장비 등을 규정된 내구연한의 기한 내에서 새로운 시설이나 장비로 대체하고, 규정된 기간 내에서 유지 보수를 수행함으로써 산업재해를 줄이는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 여겨진다.
Abstract
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of the logistics industry and industrial accidents occurring in the eastern region of Jeollanam-do and to propose measures to reduce such industrial accidents. Design/Methodology/Approach - Data on industrial safety accidents in the logistics-related industry of the eastern region of Jeollanam-do over the past 10 years (from 2013 to 2022) were extracted and analyzed to identify the characteristics of these accidents. Findings – It was found that most industrial accidents in logistics-related companies in the eastern region of Jeollanam-do were primarily caused by human factors. However, industrial accidents that occurred independently of human factors were attributed to causes such as aging equipment and facilities, failure to adhere to maintenance schedules, and the deterioration of social infrastructure, including roads used by logistics companies. Research Implications – For industrial accidents caused by human factors, measures to reduce such accidents through human resource management strategies were proposed. For industrial accidents caused by non-human factors, it is suggested that companies replace facilities and equipment, particularly vehicles such as trucks used for transportation and equipment used for loading and unloading, within the specified service life. Additionally, conducting maintenance within the regulated time frame is expected to contribute to reducing industrial accidents.
