China's path towards codifying ecological environmental laws, highlighting the need for improvement in the legal system to address climate change and increasing environmental issues. The current system faces challenges such as unclear definitions of environmental rights, legal conflicts, inadequate research, and difficulties in achieving legislative goals. Using innovative and scientific methods to construct an ecological environmental code. Decision-makers should focus on the integrity of the legal framework, covering key environmental topics, incorporating international standards, and ensuring clear and consistent provisions. Additionally, they should enhance legislative efficiency and enforcement, evaluate the capabilities and effectiveness of enforcement agencies, and ensure that laws consider long-term environmental impacts, social acceptability. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions should be an important consideration in the codification. It promotes a phased development of the ecological and environmental code, gradually refining from principles to specialized regulations, ultimately forming a comprehensive and scientific ecological and environmental code.
