PBL 수업방식을 활용한 회계감사 교육 사례

초록
[연구목적] 본 연구에서는 PBL(Problem－Based Learning) 강의방식을 적용한 회계학 관련 수업을 소개한다. 구체적으로, 회계학 전공의 학부생들을 대상으로 한 회계감사 강의에 PBL 수업형태를 적용하면서 사용한 내용들을 제시하고, 해당 수업형태의 유용성 등을 논의한다. [연구방법] 본 연구자는 U대학교에서 2022학년도에 회계감사 수업에서 PBL 강의형식을 적용하 였다. PBL 강의방식의 실제 사례를 바탕으로 그 운영에 대한 내용, 결과 및 고려사항을 중심으로 연구가 수행되었다. [연구결과] 학생들의 능동적인 학습이 이루어져서 학습의 몰입도가 높았고, 팀원 간 정보를 교 환하고 의견을 나누는 과정에서 의사소통 능력 등도 향상되는 효과가 있었다. 다만, 학생들의 특 성이나 학생 수에 따라 학습효과가 크게 다를 수 있다는 점 등을 고려해야 할 것이다. [연구의 시사점] 본 연구는 PBL 강의방식으로 진행된 회계감사 수업의 실제 사례를 보고한다 는 점에서 그 의의가 있다. 이러한 실제 사례는 새로운 강의 방법들을 개발하여 운영하려는 여 러 대학에 참고자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 직접적으로, 회계감사 수업에 PBL 강의방식을 적 용하여 수업을 진행하고자 하는 교수자들에게 수업을 계획하고 운영하는 데 실제적인 참고가 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
[Purpose] This study introduces a case of accounting class using PBL(Problem－Based Learning) teaching method. Specifically, the contents and usefulness of the PBL teaching method used in the auditing education for the undergraduate students majoring in accounting are explained. [Methodology] In 2022, I used PBL teaching method for the audit class in the U university. This research is conducted based on the actual experience, focusing on the contents, results, and considerations for the execution. [Findings] Because students actively participated, their concentration in learning was high. In addition, sharing opinions among team members had the effect of improving communication skills. However, it should be taken into consideration that the learning effect may vary greatly depending on the characteristics of the students or the number of students. [Implications] This study reports the actual case of auditing education using the PBL teaching method. This case can be used as a reference for the universities aiming to develop and operate new teaching methods. Also, it is expected that it can serve as a practical reference for professors who want to teach by applying the PBL teaching method to the auditing education.
