A Novel Concept for Integrating and Delivering Automobile Warranty Reliability Data Through a Comprehensive Digital Dashboard

초록

Purpose: This study introduces a digital dashboard aimed at enhancing warranty prediction and quality management in the automotive industry. It fills gaps in existing tools by offering a practical solution for field quality engineers. Methods: The dashboard has been developed through expert collaboration, iterative testing, and metamodel design to reflect key user and stakeholder requirements. It integrates advanced algorithms with an intuitive interface for a structured and efficient system. The metamodel framework optimizes data inputs, enabling minimal data usage while providing comprehensive insights, which enhances usability, accuracy, and efficiency in warranty and quality management. Results: This study demonstrates how reliability analysis and accelerated testing enhance alloy wheel durability. An accelerated life test model is developed to predict warranty claims for improved products by analyzing coating delamination and corrosion claims. This approach provides valuable insights into product reliability and performance. Consequently, it enables faster and more precise warranty and quality management decisions. Conclusion: The dashboard enhances quality and customer satisfaction sustainably. It addresses significant industry issues and promotes product improvement and cost efficiency.
