비서직의 업무확장 경험에 관한 사례 연구

This study was conducted on eight current secretaries with more than 10 years of secretarial experience, including the types of work expansion they have experienced and the reasons for it, the impact of work expansion on various variables, their thoughts on the expansion of secretaries' work and scope of work, and the reasons for expansion. The purpose of this study was to identify the possibility of secretaries' work expansion by confirming various aspects of desired work, opportunities for work expansion of secretaries and employees of other departments, and problems with secretaries' work areas and job scope as thought by research participants. As a result of the study, all eight secretaries experienced work expansion during their secretarial career, and were provided with management support work in personnel, general affairs, and budget management work, as well as OJT and document writing training based on their long experience, and depending on the characteristics of the company, they were assigned to certification work and sales project work. It was confirmed that he was additionally in charge of such matters. As a result of identifying the relationship between related variables, all eight people responded that work expansion had a positive effect on self-efficacy, and seven people responded that job satisfaction improved. However, different opinions were derived among participants regarding the impact on turnover intention, psychological ownership, and occupational identity. Most of the research participants believed that it was necessary to expand the work of secretaries in this changing era, and IT technology, human resource management, external public relations, and sales-related work were identified as the work they wanted to expand. This study is significant in that it is the first to identify secretaries' work expansion experiences and its effects on related variables. It also provides practical implications for university departments and organizations that train secretaries and office workers. As a follow-up study, I hope to confirm the possibility of expanding secretarial work through analysis of more secretarial cases and to contribute to secretarial education and secretarial training in organizations.
