A Study on the Influence of Success Factors of Small-Scale Female Restaurant Entrepreneurs on Business Satisfaction and Intention to Continue Business: Moderation Effect of Business Period

Small restaurant owners are facing a difficult business environment due to the uncertainty of the international situation and rising food and labor costs caused by high prices. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between success factors of restaurant start-ups and business satisfaction and intention to continue the business among 239 female small-scale restaurant start-ups in the Gyeongnam region. To achieve the purpose of the study, statistical programs SPSS (V29.0) and AMOS 23.0 were used. The analysis results showed that all factors except facilities, which are sub-factors of the success factors of entrepreneurship, had a significant influence on business satisfaction. In particular, among the success factors of small-capital female restaurant entrepreneurs, capital power showed the greatest influence on business satisfaction. In particular, among the success factors of small business female restaurant entrepreneurs, capital power had the greatest influence on business satisfaction. The study's implications are that small restaurant entrepreneurs are satisfied with their business if they have ample capital, as they run their restaurants with little capital. The research results show that small-scale female entrepreneurs run restaurants as a means of making a living. This study has limitations in that it is limited to the Gyeongnam region and that it used a convenience sampling method for the sampling method.
