주택 임차보증금 보험 가입 결정요인

Tenants may consider signing up for insurance products to protect their rental deposits. This study analyzed the characteristics of those who signed up for rental deposit insurance products. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, the higher the proportion of the deposit in the total assets of the household, the higher the probability of subscribing to a housing rental deposit insurance product compared to other households. Next, it was revealed that short-term renter households who have lived in their current home for less than 5.9 years are more likely to subscribe to housing rental deposit insurance. Finally, the higher the relative housing cost, the higher the probability of subscribing to a housing rental deposit insurance product. In summary of the above, it is believed that the information asymmetry in the housing rental market and the risk aversion tendency of renter households have influenced the trend of households subscribing to housing rental deposit insurance products.
