시니어의 경력지향성과 창업 간 관계에 있어서 창업지원의 의미
The significance of entrepreneurship support in the relationship between seniors' career orientation and entrepreneurship

본 연구는 시니어층의 경력지향성이 시니어의 창업의지에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하고, 창업지원(자금지원, 교육지원)이 이 관계에서 매개변수로 작용하는지를 검토하였다. 경력지향성은 개인이 경력 목표를 달성하기 위해 추구하는 가치와 성향을 나타내며, 관리지향성, 기술지향성, 사업지향성으로 구성된다. 연구 결과, 관리지향성은 창업의지에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으나, 기술지향성과 사업지향성은 창업의지에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 특히 기술지향성은 창업아이템 개발과 관련된 역량을, 사업지향성은 새로운 사업 기회를 창출하려는 열망을 반영하여 창업의지를 강화하는 요인으로 작용하였다. 정부의 창업지원은 자금지원과 교육지원으로 나누어 분석하였다. 자금지원은 창업 초기 단계에서 필수적인 재원을 제공하지만, 단기적이고 일시적인 특성으로 인해 창업의지에 미치는 영향이 제한적인 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 교육지원은 창업자의 창업 역량과 자기효능감을 강화하여 창업의지 형성에 중요한 요인으로 작용하였다. 특히, 사업지향성을 가진 시니어에게는 창업 준비도를 높이는 핵심적인 요인으로 작용하였다. 한편, 관리지향성과 기술지향성은 자금지원과 교육지원에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 연구 대상인 시니어층이 직장 생활을 통해 사업자금을 어느 정도 확보한 상태에서 자금지원 요구가 상대적으로 낮고, 창업 과정에서 필요한 교육지원을 더 선호한다는 점을 시사한다. 이러한 결과는 시니어층이 창업 준비 과정에서 단기적인 자금 지원보다는 장기적인 창업 역량을 위한 교육을 중시한다는 점을 보여준다. 본 연구는 경력지향성과 창업지원이 시니어 창업의지 형성에 중요한 영향을 미친다는 점을 실증적으로 입증하고, 시니어층 창업을 위한 맞춤형 교육 및 지원 정책 설계의 필요가 있음을 보여준다. 특히, 시니어층의 경력 특성과 창업 준비 상황을 반영한 정책적 접근과 교육 프로그램 개발은 향후 창업지원의 효과성을 높이는 데 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
This study empirically analyzed the effects of career orientation and entrepreneurship support (financial support, educational support) on seniors’ entrepreneurial intentions and examined whether entrepreneurship support acts as a mediating factor in this relationship. Career orientation refers to the values and tendencies that individuals pursue to achieve their career goals, and is composed of management orientation, technology orientation, and business orientation. The results of the study showed that management orientation did not have a significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions, but technology orientation and business orientation were confirmed to have a positive effect on entrepreneurial intentions. In particular, technology orientation reflected the ability related to developing entrepreneurial items, and business orientation acted as a factor that strengthened entrepreneurial intentions by reflecting the desire to create new business opportunities. This study empirically revealed that career orientation and entrepreneurship support have a significant effect on the formation of senior entrepreneurial intentions, and emphasized the need for customized education and support policies for senior entrepreneurship. In particular, it is expected that policy approaches and educational program development that reflect the career characteristics and entrepreneurship preparation status of seniors will play an important role in increasing the effectiveness of entrepreneurship support in the future.
