The purpose of this study is to present a framework for the concept, components, and measurement methods of data literacy of corporate members and to examine it empirically. To this end, the concept and components of data literacy were organized based on the results of literature review, and the validity of the concept was reviewed through expert review. Data was collected through a survey of corporate members and statistically analyzed using JMP Pro 18.1. As a result of empirical analysis of the expert review and survey data, it was confirmed that data literacy competency consists of four factors: ‘recognizing the importance of data’, ‘data evaluation and processing’, ‘analyzing with data’ and ‘communicating with data’. In addition, it was analyzed that the level of data literacy required varies greatly depending on the nature of the work and that there is a certain degree of difference depending on the job and industry. In addition, it was confirmed that all environmental variables such as data culture, data leadership, infrastructure, education and training, and data governance have a significant impact on data literacy. The data literacy measurement tool analyzed in this study can be used as a milestone to identify the data literacy capabilities of corporate members and to improve their level. In addition, it suggests that the nature of work and job duties should be sufficiently considered in corporate management related to data literacy.
