The Effect of ESG Management of Hotel Companies on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Immersion

This study empirically analyzed the effect of ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) management activities of hotel companies on employee job satisfaction and organizational commitment. As a result of the analysis, social activities and governance activities had a significant positive (+) effect on job satisfaction, while environmental activities did not have a significant positive (+) effect on job satisfaction. In addition, job satisfaction had a strong positive (+) effect on organizational commitment, and all sub-factors of ESG had a positive effect on organizational commitment, but among them, governance activities had the greatest influence. These results suggest that the ESG management of hotel companies substantially affects the psychological mechanisms of internal employees as well as external stakeholders. In practice, it is suggested that employees' job satisfaction and organizational commitment can be increased through social responsibility activities and governance transparency, and future studies suggest that additional verification using various samples and long-term data is necessary

Abstract
