The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of communication ability on the adaptation of life in beauty colleges and to suggest a way for improving efficient communication for college students’ smooth adaptation to school life. This research was conducted on students in beauty colleges, and 179 copies collected through online and offline surveys were used for the final analysis. The collected data were subjected to frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple session analysis using the SPSS 25.0 statistical program. As a result of the analysis. Communication ability was found to be rhetorical high-intensity, rhetorical sensitive, rhetorical hypersensitivity, and college life satisfaction to be academic adaptation, emotional adaptation, social adaptation, and college life adaptation. Among the communication abilities, the rhetorical sensitive type was found to have a statistically significant positive (+) effect with the sub-factors of college life adaptation, and the rhetorical hypersensitivity type was found to have a statistically significantpositive (+) effect on academic adaptation by sub-factors of college life adaptation. Therefore, it can be said that the communication ability of the rhetorical sensitive type that influenced all sub-factors of college life adaptation is an important factor in the process of adapting to college life.
