A Study on the Re-Design of Wedding Accessories Using Waste Products

Reuse using waste products is gaining interest in that it creates new value beyond recycling. Waste products are no longer discarded and worthless, but can be recreated as having a higher value depending on the use. Therefore, reuse using waste products has been reborn as more useful and valuable products than before by recycling existing resources, and is an issue in many fields as a value-enhancing concept. Therefore, this study aims to contribute to new direction and activation in the development of hair accessory design by creating and developing accessories suitable for wedding hair to give aesthetic value and use to peggy objects that are problematic in everyday life. This study produced four works by redesigning them as accessories suitable for wedding hair using aluminum cans, straws, shells, plastic cups, beads, and wires discarded in daily life. As a result, it was found that design can be developed and applied in various ways with hair accessories with excellent creativity and high artistry using waste products. Through the production of such works, we hope that this study will serve as a useful basis for redesigning waste into useful products, and we hope that future research will continue to develop better creative and valuable hair accessories through various waste products.
