ESG 전략이 녹색 혁신과 지속 가능한 성과에 미치는 영향 - 제조기업 비야디(BYD)의 사례를 중심으로 -

This study aims to examine how ESG (environmental, social, and governance) strategies affect green innovation activities of companies and how these innovations lead to sustainable performance. In particular, this study analyzed the specific implementation of ESG strategies, green products and process innovation activities, and sustainable performance in various aspects, taking BYD, a global electric vehicle manufacturer. Basically, through literature research and case analysis, it was confirmed that the ESG strategy acts as a facilitating factor for technological innovation and is a key basis for green manufacturing and enhancing resource efficiency. It was also suggested that ESG management has strategic importance in that it has a real impact on the long-term competitiveness and financial performance of companies beyond just non-financial factors. These findings provide a theoretical framework for an integrated understanding of the structural relationship between ESG strategies, technological innovation, and sustainable performance, and could provide practical implications for manufacturers to design and implement sustainable management in the future. Furthermore, in addition to these academic and practical implications, this study is considered to be able to contribute to related policy fields.
