기업가 지향성이 동적역량과 조직민첩성을 통해스타트업 성과에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 기업가 지향성이 스타트업 성과에 미치는 영향과 이 관계에서 동적역량과 조직민첩성의 매개효과, 그리고 액셀러레이터 프로그램 경험의 조절효과를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 370개 스타트업을 대상으로 한 설문조사 데이터를 기반으로 구조방정식 모형을 통해 분석한 결과, 기업가 지향성은 스타트업 성과에 직접적인 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 기업가 지향성은 동적역량과 조직민첩성에 강한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 조직민첩성은 스타트업 성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 반면, 동적역량은 스타트업 성과에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않았다. 매개효과 분석 결과, 조직민첩성은 기업가 지향성과 스타트업 성과 간의 관계를 유의하게 매개하는 것으로 나타났으나, 동적역량의 매개효과는 유의하지 않았다. 액셀러레이터 프로그램 이수 여부에 따른 다중집단 분석 결과, 액셀러레이터 프로그램 이수 기업에서는 동적역량이 성과에 미치는 영향과 매개효과가 모두 유의하게 나타났으며, 조직민첩성의 효과도 더 강하게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 기업가 지향성이 스타트업 성과로 이어지는 과정에서 조직민첩성이 핵심적인 매개 메커니즘으로 작용하며, 액셀러레이터 프로그램이 역량과 성과 간의 연결을 강화하는 중요한 역할을 한다는 것을 시사한다. 본 연구는 스타트업의 성과 창출 메커니즘에 대한 이론적 이해를 확장하고, 스타트업 경영자 및 정책 입안자들에게 실질적인 시사점을 제공한다.
Abstract
This study empirically examines the impact of entrepreneurial orientation on startup performance and investigates the mediating effects of dynamic capabilities and organizational agility, as well as the moderating effect of accelerator program experience. Based on survey data from 370 startups analyzed through structural equation modeling, entrepreneurial orientation was found to have a direct positive effect on startup performance. Entrepreneurial orientation also strongly influenced dynamic capabilities and organizational agility, while organizational agility had a significant positive impact on startup performance. However, dynamic capabilities did not directly influence startup performance. Mediation analysis revealed that organizational agility significantly mediated the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and startup performance, but the mediating effect of dynamic capabilities was not significant. Multiple group analysis based on accelerator program participation showed that among startups that completed accelerator programs, dynamic capabilities had significant effects on performance and demonstrated mediation effects, while organizational agility's effects were stronger. These findings suggest that organizational agility serves as a key mediating mechanism in the process of entrepreneurial orientation leading to startup performance, and accelerator programs play an important role in strengthening the connection between capabilities and performance. This study expands the theoretical understanding of performance creation mechanisms in startups and provides practical implications for startup managers and policy makers.
