초록

Amid intensifying competition in today’s business environment, organizational members increasingly engage in social comparisons, which can amplify perceptions of relative deprivation and foster workplace envy. Such envy, as a negative emotional response, may hinder desirable workplace behaviors and harm overall organizational functioning. Drawing on this context, the present study posits that career resilience serves as an individual psychological resource that can mitigate feelings of envy. Specifically, the study examines the mediating role of workplace envy in the relationship between career resilience and two forms of positive employee behavior: organizational citizenship behavior and voice behavior. Furthermore, the study proposes that supervisor feedback functions as an external resource that moderates the link between career resilience and envy by altering the strength of this association. Empirical results show that supervisor feedback significantly attenuates the negative relationship between career resilience and envy. Additionally, a moderated mediation effect was identified, suggesting that supervisor feedback indirectly influences positive workplace behaviors by moderating the indirect path through workplace envy.
