대학생의 취업눈높이가 스트레스에 미치는 영향과 진로성숙도의 매개효과 분석

This study aimed to examine the effect of college students' job aspiration level on stressand to analyze the mediating effect of career maturityin this relationship. The goal was to provide foundational data for developing effective intervention strategies in career counseling and education settings. Data from 900 currently enrolled university students were utilized from the 14th wave (2020) of the Youth Panel Survey (YP2007) additional sample. The main findings are as follows: First, there was a positive correlation between college students' job aspiration level and stress, and a negative correlation between job aspiration level and overall career maturity. Among the sub-factors of career maturity, planfulness showed a positive correlation with job aspiration level, while self-efficacy and interest showed negative correlations. Second, job aspiration level was found to have a significant positive effecton stress. Third, job aspiration level had a negative effecton overall career maturity, and overall career maturity had a negative effect on stress. Furthermore, mediation analysis revealed that overall career maturity played a full mediating role in the relationship between job aspiration level and stress. Fourth, in the analysis of mediating effects by sub-factors of career maturity, planfulness showed no significant mediating effect, whereas self-efficacy and interest exhibited full mediating effects. These results suggest that a higher job aspiration level among college students is associated with greater perceived stress, and that career maturity acts as a significant psychological mediator in this relationship. This study provides foundational data emphasizing the importance of intervention strategies aimed at improving career maturity in the development of career counseling and education programs for college students.
