간호사의 환자안전관리활동에 미치는 영향 요인

This descriptive survey study aimed to investigate the effects of nurses’ perceptions of the importance of patient safety management and positive nursing organizational culture on patient safety management activities. The participants were 145 nurses working at five general hospitals in G Metropolitan City, and data were collected using self-administered questionnaires. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS 26.0, employing t-tests and ANOVA to examine differences between variables, Pearson’s correlation coefficients to assess relationships, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis to identify influencing factors. The average score for nurses' patient safety management activities was 3.97 out of 5. Significant positive correlations were found between patient safety management activities and both the perceived importance of patient safety management (r= .60) and positive nursing organizational culture (r= .71). The results of hierarchical multiple regression analysis showed that positive nursing organizational culture (β= .51, p< .01) and awareness of the importance of patient safety management (β= .22, p< .01) were significant influencing factors, and the explanatory power of these variables was 53%. The results of this study showed that fostering a positive nursing organizational culture at the organizational level and awareness of the importance of patient safety are important factors in order to promote nurses’ patient safety management activities.
