개인정보보호 국내 연구동향 분석:계량서지학 분석과 내용 분석을 중심으로

This study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of academic research trends in the field of personal informaion protection in South Korea and to identify major thematic trajectories. A total of 490 articles related to personal information protection and privacy, published in journals indexed by the Korea Citation Index(KCI) between 2019 and 2023, were collected and analyzed using both bibliometric and content analysis methods. The quantitative analysis explored the distribution of research output, academic disciplines, and core kewords. Subsequently qualitative analysis was conducted by categorizing the reseach topics into legal and policy, managerial, and technological domains to examine the nature and intensity of scholarly discourse. The results reveal that most studies were concentrated in the fields of social sciences and engineering, with particularly active discussions in the legal and policy domain. In the managerial domain, research mainly focused on institutional operations and behavioral approaches, In the technological domain, attention was largely directed toward the secure utilization of personal data, whereas protection-oriented technologies-such as rights assurance and risk prevention-were relatively undereplored. This study highlights the need for future research to progress in a multidisciplinary and balanced manner that integrates institutional, technical, and societal dimensions. the findings are expected to serve as a valuable foundation for academic discourse and policy formulation in the field.
