운송에서 발생할 수 있는 온도변화와 진동이 화장품 에멀젼 품질 저하에 미치는 영향

Among cosmetic formulations, products such as emulsions are vulnerable to rapid temperature changes and repeated vibrations. Cosmetics are formulated based on room temperature, and particle coalescence and phase separation occur at high or low temperatures. The physical stability of cosmetics refers to the product maintaining its physical properties (viscosity, emulsion state, particle size distribution, etc.) without change during transportation, storage, and use. Physical instability causes layer separation, creaming, and viscosity changes, which cause discomfort to consumers and reduce brand reliability. In particular, emulsions are composed of water and oil components, so interfacial energy, particle size, and energy related to the gap between particles must be considered. When temperature changes and repeated vibrations occur during transportation, the fluidity of colloidal particles increases, causing the destruction of the formulation, which reduces the quality. This study examined the reasons for the destruction of the formulation due to temperature changes and vibrations that occur during the transportation of cosmetics using theories related to cosmetic particles, and suggested improvements that should be made during the transportation process. We hope that this study will be helpful in quality control during the transportation of cosmetics.
