The collection period is from March 1 to March 5, 2025, and the papers selected from the dissertations were organized by author, school, year of publication, paper title, and degree (master’s, doctoral) to create a list of analysis subjects, and 14 domestic doctoral papers and 34 domestic master’s papers were used in the research. The analysis results showed that research trends by year of publication were the highest in 2023 with 9 papers, and the rankings by issuing institutions where degrees were awarded were in the following order: Seogyeong University, Hansung University, Konkuk University, and Donggduk University. In terms of research topics, the field of arts and physical education ranked highest, and research related to natural sciences, education, social sciences, and engineering was also recognized. Research trends by research method showed that quantitative research accounted for the highest proportion, and frequently appearing keywords included beauty, education, service, artificial intelligence, devices, the 4th industrial revolution, and augmented reality. The conclusion of this study is believed to have contributed to expanding the new paradigm of related research to strengthen the competitiveness of the current beauty market in the era of the 4th industrial revolution.
