AI 돌봄서비스의 진화에 관한 연구: 생성형 AI를 기반한 노인 돌봄 플랫폼을 중심으로

본 연구는 초고령사회라는 구조적 전환기에 직면한 한국 사회가 정서적·사회적 돌봄의 새로운 대안을 모색해야 한다는 문제의식에서 출발하였다. 기존의 기능 중심의 복지 체계가 간과해 온 정서적 공백과 사회적 고립 문제에 주목하여, 생성형 AI(Generative AI)를 기반한 'AI 돌봄플랫폼'의 가능성과 한계를 실증적으로 검토하였다. 특히 감성 인식, 인간과 같은 대화, 의인화 기술 등을 중심으로 생성형 AI의 정서적 상호작용 능력을 분석하고, 이를 '개인 맞춤형' 돌봄 서비스로 이론화하였다. 그리고 현재 상용화되고 있는 AI 돌봄 서비스의 사례 분석을 통해 AI 기술이 단순한 기능 보조를 넘어 고령자의 자율성과 정체성을 존중하는 돌봄 주체로 진화할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 생성형 AI를 기반한 커뮤니티 케어 및 스마트 돌봄 기술과의 융합을 통해 통합 플랫폼으로의 유형화를 시도하였으며, 생성형 AI로 진화된 돌봄서비스를 '생성형 AI 돌봄플랫폼'으로 제시했다. 그리고 '생성형 AI 돌봄플랫폼'의 소비자 수용성과 효과성에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 개인 맞춤화, 셀프케어, 신체적 욕구, 경제적 욕구, 공감, 신뢰, 돌봄의 시장화, 인간같은 대화, 이용자 중심의 편이성 등을 도출하였으며, 민관 협력 체계와 제도적 기반의 정비는 서비스의 지속 가능성을 좌우하는 주요 조건임을 밝혔다. 연구 결과를 통해 '생성형 AI 돌봄플랫폼'의 핵심 가치로 '인간 친화적인 개방형 생태계' 구축을 제시하였으며, 기술 기업과 복지 기관, 지역사회와 중앙정부 간 유기적 협력 체계가 돌봄 플랫폼의 실효성을 높이는 전략임을 강조하였다. 그리고 향후 고령자 수용자 관점의 정량적 분석 및 윤리·법 제도적 기반 확립의 필요성을 후속 과제로 제언하고자 한다.
Abstract
This study originated from the awareness that Korean society, facing a structural transition to a super-aged society, must seek new alternatives for emotional and social care. Focusing on the emotional gaps and social isolation issues overlooked by the existing function-centered welfare system, this study empirically examined the potential and limitations of an “AI care platform” based on generative AI (Generative AI). Specifically, the study analyzed the emotional interaction capabilities of Generative AI, focusing on emotional recognition, human-like conversation, and anthropomorphic technology, and theorized these as “personalized” care services. Through case analyses of currently commercialized AI care services, the study confirmed that AI technology can evolve beyond mere functional assistance to become a care provider that respects the autonomy and identity of the elderly. This study attempted to categorize the integration of generative AI-based community care and smart care technologies into an integrated platform, proposing the evolved care service as a “generative AI care platform.” We identified factors influencing the consumer acceptance and effectiveness of the ‘Generative AI Care Platform,’ including personalization, self-care, physical needs, economic needs, empathy, trust, the commercialization of care, human-like conversation, and user-centric convenience. We also clarified that the establishment of a public-private cooperation system and institutional foundations are key conditions determining the sustainability of the service. Based on the above research results, the study proposed the establishment of a “human-friendly open ecosystem” as the core value of the “Generative AI Care Platform” and emphasized that an organic collaboration system between technology companies, welfare institutions, local communities, and the central government is a strategic approach to enhancing the effectiveness of the care platform. Additionally, the study suggested the need for quantitative analysis from the perspective of elderly users and the establishment of ethical and legal institutional foundations as future tasks.
