소상공인의 창업 준비활동 중요성 인식이 사업 지속성에 미치는 영향: 창업과정 어려움 인식의 매개효과

This study was conducted to analyze the mediating effect of Perceived Difficulties in the Start-up Process on the relationship between the Perceived Importance of Entrepreneurial Preparation Activities and Business Continuity among Small Business Owners. For this purpose, data from the 2022 Small Business Survey were analyzed, with a total of 22,947 Small Business Owners included in the sample. The data were analyzed using SPSS, employing frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The main findings are as follows. First, the results of the correlation analysis indicated no multicollinearity issues, and among the sub-factors of Perceived Difficulties in the Start-up Process, Administrative Procedures and Business Management showed the highest correlations. Second, the hierarchical regression analysis revealed that Perceived Difficulties in the Start-up Process-specifically in Business Type Selection, Administrative Procedures, and Business Management-fully mediated the relationship between Perceived Importance of Entrepreneurial Preparation Activities and Business Continuity. The Sobel test also confirmed the significance of the indirect effects. In particular, Business Type Selection exhibited the strongest influence. This study provides practical implications for developing sustainable entrepreneurial strategies by demonstrating that Perceived Importance of Entrepreneurial Preparation Activities affects Business Continuity through Perceived Difficulties in the Start-up Process.
