4차 산업혁명시대를 반영한 경력단절 진로변화 연구 - 중년 창업여성의 진로변화를 중심으로

This study explores the career transformation and entrepreneurial content development of middle-aged women who resumed their careers after interruption, responding to the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In-depth interviews were conducted with 16 such women, and Giorgi’s phenomenological method was used to analyze the data, yielding 253 meaning units, 63 integrated meanings, 23 subthemes, and 9 core categories. The first research focus was on career transition experiences. Key themes included diminished self-worth and weakened social ties, career stagnation due to digitalization, loss of meaning in prior roles, detachment from organizations, the pursuit of autonomous career paths, and renewed competence through redefined careers. The second focus addressed the development of entrepreneurial content, with themes such as acquiring digital and professional skills, content creation for crisis management, diversification of career paths, and enhancement of life satisfaction and career meaning. This study provides insight into how career-interrupted middle-aged women utilize digital skills to pursue new careers and entrepreneurial ventures aligned with technological trends. It also reveals how they reconstruct their career identities and life meanings. The findings contribute to qualitative research on women’s career transitions, offering practical implications for institutional and policy support aimed at empowering women in career development and entrepreneurial content creation.
