창업자의 창업동기와 정부지원사업의 만족도가 경쟁우위 성과에 미치는 영향: 디지털역량과 리스크대응역량의 매개효과

This study aims to examine the effects of entrepreneurs’ entrepreneurial motivation and satisfaction with government start-up support programs on two core execution capabilities digital capability and risk management capability and to structurally identify how these capabilities influence the competitive advantage performance of start-ups. A survey was conducted with entrepreneurs, and a total of 204 valid responses were analyzed. The results indicate that entrepreneurial motivation significantly affects both digital capability and risk management capability, while government start-up support exerts a positive influence on digital capability. Furthermore, both digital capability and risk management capability were found to significantly impact competitive advantage performance, with risk management capability showing a relatively stronger influence. Additionally, entrepreneurs with prior work experience demonstrated significantly higher risk management capability, suggesting that career background can contribute to capability development. This study proposes strategic approaches to leveraging entrepreneurial motivation and government support to enhance start-up performance and provides empirical implications for securing competitiveness based on entrepreneurial capabilities. The findings further highlight the importance of designing tailored start-up support policies that consider entrepreneurs’ backgrounds and experiences. Moreover, the results suggest that developing education and training programs aimed at simultaneously strengthening digital capability and risk management capability can play a crucial role in fostering the sustainable growth of start-ups.
