국내 지방청별 선박용도별 통계의 변동성과 방향성 분석: 부산, 인천, 마산, 여수, 울산, 목포, 제주를 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to analyze the status and the rate of change of each regional office based on statistical information on vessel usage by major regional offices in Korea and to compare and verify mutual directionality. The necessary data was selected from the National Statistical Office, and the analysis period is a total of 172 months from January 2011 to April 2025. The major regional offices were selected based on tonnage: Busan, Incheon, Masan, Yeosu, Ulsan, Mokpo and Jeju. The monthly change rate for the same month compared to the previous year was calculated, and various empirical analyses were performed using Excel and e-Views to find the directionality of each port office. As a result of the analysis, the increase rate was relatively high in Jeju, Mokpo, and Yeosu, while Busan, Incheon, Ulsan, and Masan actually decreased during the previous analysis period. IIn the change rate, Yeosu, Ulsan, and Jeju showed large changes, while Busan and Incheon showed relatively small changes. In the distribution analysis, Ulsan and Masan showed high density, while Jeju was widely distributed and showed relatively low density. Masan, Ulsan, and Mokpo are often judged to have experienced abnormal surges. Korea and Jeju showed very strong synchronization. In the direction analysis, Jeju appeared very strongly with Korea. On the other hand, Busan and Incheon appeared weakly but in the opposite direction, and Masan, Yeosu, and Ulsan appeared to have no direction with Korea. In the future, as we enter the era of the Arctic Route, we expect to see Busan and each port find vitality and show the advanced appearance of Korea as an exporter.
