간호대학생의 인지적 유연성과 대학생활적응의 관계: 학습 몰입 정도의 매개효과
The Relationship Between Cognitive Flexibility and College Life Adaptation Among Nursing Students: The Mediating Effect of Academic Engagement

본 연구는 간호대학생의 인지적 유연성이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 이 관계에서 학습 몰입 정도의 매개효과를 분석하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료 수집은 간호학과 재학생 131명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 25.0 프로그램과 PROCESS macro를 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, 피어슨 상관분석, 매개효과 분석을 실시하였다. 간호대학생의 인지적 유연성 평균점수는 4.27± .39, 학습 몰입 평균점수는 3.42± .62, 대학생활적응 평균점수는 3.49± .62로 나타났다. 변수 간 상관분석 결과, 인지적 유연성은 학습 몰입(r= .49, p< .01), 대학생활적응(r= .51, p< .01)과 정적 상관관계를 보였으며, 학습 몰입과 대학생활적응 간에도 정적 상관관계(r= .79, p< .01)가 확인되었다. PROCESS macro Model 4 분석 결과, 인지적 유연성은 대학생활 적응에 대해 직접효과(B= .26, p= .01)와 함께, 학습 몰입을 통한 간접효과(B= .59, 95% Boot CI[ .33, .82])도 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 간호대학생의 인지적 유연성과 학습 몰입, 대학생활적응 간의 구조적 관계를 실증적으로 규명하여 간호교육 현장에서 학습 몰입을 촉진하고 대학생활적응을 돕기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.
Abstract
This study aimed to identify the effect of cognitive flexibility on college life adaptation among nursing students and to examine the mediating effect of academic engagement in this relationship. A descriptive correlational design was used, and data were collected from 131 nursing students using a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using SPSS WIN 25.0 and the PROCESS macro, including t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, and mediation analysis. The mean scores were 4.27± .39 for cognitive flexibility, 3.42± .62 for academic engagement, and 3.49± .62 for college life adaptation. Correlation analysis showed that cognitive flexibility was positively correlated with academic engagement (r= .49, p< .01) and college life adaptation (r= .51, p< .01). Academic engagement also showed a significant positive correlation with college life adaptation (r= .79, p< .01). Based on the PROCESS macro Model 4 analysis, cognitive flexibility had a significant direct effect on college life adaptation (B= .26, p= .01), as well as a significant indirect effect through academic engagement (B= .59, 95% Boot CI [ .33, .82]). These findings provide empirical evidence of the structural relationships among cognitive flexibility, academic engagement, and college life adaptation in nursing students, and suggest the need for educational strategies to promote academic engagement to support students’ successful adaptation to college life.
