법교육 교수･학습 방법 연구의 동향과 과제
Trends and Tasks in Research on Teaching and Learning Methods in Law-related Education

이 연구의 목적은 법교육 교수･학습 방법에 관한 연구의 동향을 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 향후 법교육 교수･학습 방법 연구의 과제를 제언하는 것이다. 이를 위해 국내 학술지에 게재된 논문들을 발간 시기, 교수･학습 방법, 연구 방법, 연구 대상, 연구 목적, 효과 변수에 따라 분석했다. 분석 결과 법교육 교수･학습 방법에 관한 연구는 2006년 이후 꾸준히 이루어지는 것으로 나타났다. 교수･학습 방법 중 학생 자치법정, 모의 입법, 사례 연구법이 많이 연구되었으며, 가장 많이 채택하고 있는 연구방법은 문헌 조사를 통한 이론 연구였다. 연구 대상은 고등학생, 초등학생, 중학생 순으로 많았으며, 교수･학습 방법의 효과를 분석한 연구는 대부분 법의식에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 이를 바탕으로 향후 법교육 교수･학습 방법에 관한 연구는 실제 교육현장에 실행해 보는 경험 연구가 확대될 필요가 있으며, 교수･학습 방법에 관해 논의할 때 연구 대상을 구체적으로 상정하는 것이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 교수･학습 방법의 효과에 대해 구체적이고 다양한 영역을 탐구하려는 시도가 필요할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the trends in research on teaching and learning methods in law-related education and to suggest future tasks for research in this field. To this end, articles published in Korean journals were analysed according to publication period, teaching and learning methods, research methods, research subjects, research purposes, and outcome variables. The analysis showed that research on teaching and learning methods in law-related education has been conducted steadily since 2006. Among the teaching and learning methods, teen courts, mock legislation, and case studies were the most frequently examined. The predominant research method was theoretical research through literature review. With respect to research subjects, high school students were the most commonly studied, followed by elementary and middle school students. In addition, most studies that analysed the effectiveness of teaching and learning methods focused on the impact on legal consciousness. Based on this, this study suggests that future research should expand empirical and field-based research on actual educational contexts, and it is necessary to specify learner groups when discussing teaching and learning methods. In addition, it is necessary to attempt to explore the effects of specific and diverse areas of teaching and learning methods.
