공작기계 제조 중견기업의 ESG·4차 산업혁명 대응 전략 : 기술지향성과 R&D역량 사례연구

This study attempted to suggest a direction for strategic improvement in the machinery industry, which has recently suffered a lot in the Fourth Industrial Revolution and ESG management environment. In particular, the machine tool industry is not a simple consumer product to be called the 'Mother of Machine', and today's machine tool industry is not as active as in the past industrial era, but the machine tool industry is developing strategically based on technology-oriented performance, R&D capabilities, and IT industries from the customer's perspective. In particular, it is necessary to perform a diversified role considering productivity, efficiency, and worker safety based on R&D capabilities, along with the brilliant changes in the machine tool industry in the past, the fourth industrial revolution and ESG management environment. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to first analyze the current challenges of the future machine tool industry, a representative industry in the past industrial era, and suggest improvement directions based on technology orientation and R&D capabilities for future development directions. Second, it aims to explore the direction of future development through analysis from the perspective of the top management, who is practically implementing strategies for survival strategies as well as the current state of the machine tool industry due to technology obsolescence. In conclusion, it is necessary to establish strategies for future improvement directions for the machine tool industry, contribute to the development of the machine tool industry, and establish diversified strategies for substantial development based on continuous technology orientation and R&D capabilities in the future.
