디자인씽킹 기반 생성형 AI를 활용한 ESG 교육 수업모델의 이론적 설계 - 대학 교양교육에서 창의적 문제 해결 수업의 개념적 탐색 -

This study aims to conceptualize and design a theoretical teaching-learning model that integrates design thinking-based generative AI into liberal arts education for ESG (environmental, social, and governance) learning. The purpose of this research is to explore its applicability within the context of liberal arts curricula. The research questions focus on the necessity of an ESG-integrated instructional model utilizing design thinking and generative AI, its theoretical foundations, the design of a week-by-week learning process, and the educational implications. Methodologically, the study analyzes domestic and international prior research to design a course model that incorporates weekly learning flow, learner participation strategies, and AI-assisted approaches. The validity of the model was further examined through expert review. The analysis results indicate that the proposed weekly design consists of five stages: empathy, problem definition, ideation, prototype development, and reflection, with generative AI functioning as a supportive tool for idea exploration and visualization. This approach suggests the potential to foster learners’ active participation and creative thinking in ESG education; however, further studies are needed to verify its practical learning effects and long-term feasibility.
