초록
This study investigates the impact of inpatient healthcare service experience value on patients’ behavioral intentions, with a focus on differences based on the presence or absence of chronic diseases. Recognizing that the experience value of healthcare services during hospitalization may influence patient satisfaction, treatment outcome satisfaction, and recommendation intentions differently depending on patient characteristics, this research aims to achieve two specific objectives. First, it examines the overall influence of inpatient service experience value on behavioral intentions according to chronic disease status. Second, it aims to provide empirical insights into the necessity and direction of personalized healthcare services tailored to patient profiles. The study utilizes data from the "2023 Healthcare Service Experience Survey" panel, selecting a sample of 409 individuals with inpatient service experiences. The analysis revealed that there are statistically significant differences in the experience value and behavioral intentions of inpatients depending on chronic disease status. Furthermore, inpatient service experience value was identified as a key determinant of patients' behavioral intentions. In conclusion, this study emphasizes the importance of a differentiated approach to managing inpatient service experience value based on chronic disease status. It suggests the need for future research expansion and practical strategies for enhancing patient-centered quality management and chronic disease-oriented hospital service improvement policies.
