자기통제력과 사회적 지지의 상호작용을 통한 마약류 중독자의 단약 자기효능감 탐색

This study aims to explore how the interaction between self-control and social support affect maintaining drug abstinence among drug offenders. By doing so, we seek to reveal the psychological and social mechanisms that enable sustained abstinence, to provide evidence on treatment and rehabilitation paradigms. To achieve a study goal, we conducted a survey with inmates who had been convicted under the Narcotics Control Act and analyzed 120 valid responses. Hierarchical regression analysis was conducted and reveaed that higher levels of self-control and social support were positively associated with drug abstinence self-efficacy. Furthermore, the moderating effect of social support was confirmed. Based on these findings, strategies for strengthening social support were discussed to help drug offenders voluntarily maintain abstinence after release. Although this study is significant in that it empirically demonstrates the importance of interaction between self-control and social support in sustaining abstinence, it has several limitations regarding sampling. Future studies should address these limitations to produce more generalizable results.
