기술이전이 혁신활동과 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 흡수역량과 네트워크역량의 조절효과

This study investigates the impact of technology transfer on the innovation activities (product innovation andprocess innovation) of technology-intensive small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs and mid-sized firms), andempirically analyzes the relationship between innovation activities and firm performance. The research model setstechnology transfer as the independent variable, product innovation and process innovation as the main analyticalvariables, and firm performance as the dependent variable. In addition, absorptive capacity, representing internalcapability, and network capability, representing external capability, were included as moderating variables to moreprecisely examine the relationship between technology transfer and innovation activities. The analysis was conducted using 230 survey responses collected from SMEs and mid-sized firms, applyingPLS-SEM. The results of the study are as follows. First, technology transfer was found to have a significantpositiv(+) effect on both product innovation and process innovation. Second, both product innovation and processinnovation were shown to have significant positive(+) effects on firm performance. Third, in the moderating effectanalysis, absorptive capacity significantly strengthened the relationship between technology transfer and both productand process innovation, whereas network capability was not statistically significant in either relationship. These results suggest that enhancing absorptive capacity within firms is crucial to maximizing performancethrough technology transfer. Furthermore, by empirically demonstrating that both product innovation and processinnovation lead to firm performance, this study shows that technology-intensive SMEs and mid-sized firms cansecure competitive advantages through continuous reinforcement of innovation capabilities
