미용학원 강사의 변혁적리더십과 수강생의 학습몰입 및 수업만족도 관계 연구

This study analysed the impact of transformational leadership of beauty school instructors on students’ learning engagement and class satisfaction to suggest ways to improve the quality of beauty education and effective management. The results of the study showed that transformational leadership of instructors positively affects both students’ learning engagement and class satisfaction. In particular, high satisfaction was found among students over 30 years old, and the combination of accurate goal setting, challenge, and ability was found to be a key factor in learning engagement. The charisma and intellectual stimulation of the instructor contributed to the improvement of class satisfaction, and individualised attention significantly increased students’ performance satisfaction. Furthermore, the better the practical environment and the instructor’s practical skills, the higher the students’ performance satisfaction. These results suggest that instructor leadership in cosmetology education can have differentiated effects depending on students’ age and learning styles, and that individualised and detailed guidance and goal-oriented teaching strategies are essential for improving the quality of cosmetology education. This study confirms that transformational leadership of instructors is an important factor in improving students’ learning engagement and class satisfaction, and suggests that it can substantially contribute to improving the quality of beauty education and achieving students’ goals.
