지식재산리터러시·금융이해력이 창업인식에 미치는 영향: 기업가정신의 매개효과를 중심으로

Intellectual property (IP) is recognized in the contemporary era as a core value of innovation-led growth and a vital source of corporate competitiveness. Financial literacy and entrepreneurial adaptability are also crucial for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities in the face of rapid change. This study investigates the influence of intellectual property literacy and financial literacy on university students’ startup awareness, with entrepreneurship positioned as a mediating variable. A total of 138 university students from the Busan region participated in the study. Using SPSS 26.0 and the PROCESS macro Model 4, the structural relationships among the variables were analyzed. The study’s findings indicate that IP literacy has a strong positive impact on both entrepreneurship and startup awareness. Conversely, financial literacy has no direct influence on startup awareness but demonstrates a positive effect on entrepreneurship. Furthermore, entrepreneurship partially mediates the relationship between intellectual property literacy and startup awareness, and fully mediates the relationship between financial literacy and startup awareness. The results of this study highlight the need for interdisciplinary, integrative, and systemic educational programs in higher education that concurrently address IP, finance, startups, and entrepreneurship to foster the talent required by a knowledge-based society and to promote entrepreneurship.
