무용단체의 사회적 책임(CSR)과 지속가능경영에 관한 연구

A Study on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable Management in Dance Organizations

강선옥(신한대학교)

34권 5호, 470~482쪽

초록

This study explores how dance organizations apply Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) through the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework. Using directive content analysis of reports and cases from 2018 to 2024, the study categorized data under environmental, social, and governance dimensions. Results show ESG converts CSR’s ethical values into measurable management indicators. Environmental practices include recycling stage materials, using LED lighting, and expanding digital performances. Social practices promote inclusivity through community dance programs and improved access for marginalized groups. Governance emphasizes transparency, fair contracts, and protection of artists’ rights. While global institutions such as the National Theatre and Royal Ballet have formal ESG systems, most Korean dance groups remain at an early CSR stage. The study recommends ESG-based support policies, sustainability committees, and standardized reporting indicators. Integrating ESG with CSR enhances artistic credibility, public trust, and long-term sustainability. It provides a model for aligning creativity with social and environmental responsibility.
