초록
[연구목적] 창업자는 창업지원 프로그램으로부터 공정한 지원을 받을 권리가 있으며, 지원기관은 이에 대한 책무를 가진다. 본 연구는 창업자의 사업화 역량과 사업성과 간의 관계를 규명하고, 창업지원 공정성의 매개효과를 실증적으로 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. [연구방법] 연구모형과 가설을 설정하고, 창업지원 사업에 참여한 창업자 528명의 데이터를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 구조방정식모형(SEM)을 활용하여 통계적으로 검증하였다. [연구결과] 분석 결과, 창업자의 사업화 역량은 사업성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사업화 역량은 창업지원 공정성에 긍정적인 영향을 주었으며, 창업자가 지각하는 공정성은 다시 사업성과에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 더 나아가, 공정성은 사업화 역량과 사업성과 간의 관계에서 부분 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. [연구의 시사점] 본 연구는 창업자의 사업화 역량 못지않게 창업지원 기관과 담당자가제공하는 공정성이 사업성과 달성에 핵심적인 요인임을 강조한다. 공정성이 확보되지 않을 경우 창업자는 지원기관에 대한 신뢰를 상실하고 성과 달성에 어려움을 겪을 수 있다. 따라서 창업지원 기관은 제도적․절차적․상호작용적 공정성을 제고하여 창업자의신뢰를 구축하고, 이를 통해 성과를 극대화할 수 있는 체계적인 지원 전략을 마련해야할 것이다.
Abstract
[Purpose] Entrepreneurs have the right to receive justice support from startup support programs, while startup support organizations have a duty to provide it. This study investigates the relationship between entrepreneurs’ commercialization capabilities and business performance, with a focus on the mediating role of startup support justice. [Methodology] A research model and hypotheses were developed and tested using structural equation modeling (SEM). Data were collected from 528 entrepreneurs participating in startup programs. [Findings] The results indicate that entrepreneurs’ commercialization capabilities positively influence business performance. Commercialization capabilities also have a significant positive effect on justice, and justice in turn positively affects business performance. Furthermore, justice partially mediates the relationship between commercialization capabilities and business performance, confirming its role as a key intervening variable. [Implications] The findings suggest that justice in startup support programs plays a critical role in ensuring trust and achieving targeted entrepreneurial outcomes. A lack of justice may lead to distrust in support organizations and hinder performance. Therefore, the justice provided by startup support organizations and managers is as essential to entrepreneurial success as entrepreneurs’ own commercialization capabilities and efforts.
