양심탕 약침과 가미소요산으로 호전된 대상포진 후 신경통 환자 1례 : 증례보고

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the effects of Yangshim-tang pharmacopuncture and Gamisoyo-san on postherpetic neuralgia. Methods: An inpatient presenting with postherpetic neuralgia was treated with Yangshim-tang pharmacopuncture and Gamisoyo-san. The efficacy of these treatments for postherpetic neuralgia was evaluated by assessing pain intensity using the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) and stress levels using the National Stress Scale (NSS). Patients' overall health was assessed using the European Quality of Life Five Dimensions (EQ-5D) Scale. Results: The NRS, NSS, and EQ-5D scores improved following treatment. The change in NSS scores indicated a reduction in the stress level of the patient. Conclusions: The study suggests that Yangshim-tang pharmacopuncture and Gamisoyo-san may be effective treatments for postherpetic neuralgia.
