The Effects of Beauty Educators' Teaching Competency and Facilitation Competency of Beauty Educators on Learning Interests and Learning Immersion

In this study, This study collected data for one month from July 2025 from teenagers or older with learning experience within the last year to examine the effect of beauty educators’ teaching competencies and facilitation competencies on learning interest and learning commitment, and to suggest the direction of teaching and learning plans for efficient beauty education. Of the 400 collected data, 392 copies were used for the final data, excluding unfaithful answers. As a result of the analysis, the teaching competency of beauty educators was derived from three factors: professionalism, educational knowledge, and communication, and the facilitation of learning activities, empathetic communication, and creative thinking for facilitation competency. In terms of the influence of teaching competency on learning interest and learning commitment, the influence was high in the professionalism and communication factors of the professor, and educational knowledge was found only in learning interest. In terms of the influence of facilitation competency on learning interest and learning commitment, the influence was high in the factors of promoting learning activities and promoting creative thinking, and empathic communication was found only in learning interest. Through this study, the educational competencies required of beauty educators were derived, and it was confirmed that the interest and commitment of learners are very important variables in the educational field.
