초록
Amid the tightening of carbon-neutrality regulations and the expansion of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) disclosure requirements across global supply chains, the need for effective corporate ESG responses has been rapidly increasing. However, many firms still rely on manual management systems, resulting in substantial costs and inefficiencies in preparing ESG evaluations. This study develops a digital transformation (DX)-based solution for resource circulation and environmental management designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of ESG practices. The proposed system incorporates (i) edge computing for real-time environmental data collection, (ii) interoperability across heterogeneous systems, (iii) machine learning algorithms for carbon emission estimation, and (iv) automated ESG report generation. Through comprehensive testing, the system's functional stability, data consistency, and adaptability to regulatory standards were verified. In addition, the results indicate that the solution can substantially reduce labor and time required for ESG preparation while enabling proactive compliance with government regulations on carbon neutrality and waste management.
