지식재산 특성화대학 교육과정 분석을 통한 IP인력양성 유형 분석에 관한 연구

The Ministry of Intellectual Property(MOIP)(former Korean Intellectual Property Office, KIPO) has been operating IP-focused universities since the end of the IP-leading universities project in 2020 to cultivate multidisciplinary talent specialized in regional key industries. Universities selected as IP-Leading or IP-focused universities acquire personnel and expertise for running IP-related courses during the project period, which has led to the expansion of IP-related curricula across departments. The purpose of this study is to analyze the IP courses offered at IP-leading and IP-focused universities to identify the characteristics of IP-related courses at each university, the status of course offerings at each focused university, and the alignment with the human resource needs of the intellectual property industry. The study aims to provide reference materials for the future development of IP-related courses and the management of IP-focused universities. For the case study, we compared and analyzed the course data from the IP-leading universities analysis conducted in 2018 with the IP courses offered at IP-focused universities as of 2023. For insights into the human resource and educational needs of the intellectual property industry, data from the intellectual property status survey conducted by the MOIP was utilized.
