A Study on the Leadership of the Beauty Industry: Analysis of the Language Network

초록

Since the 2000s, this study has conducted a language network analysis to reveal the leadership paradigm, research trends, and characteristics of the domestic beauty industry. The data collection period is from August 15 to 20, 2025, and the RISS of the literature was used as the subject of analysis, and it was confirmed that a total of 65 papers were published in 19 types of journals among the journals listed in the Korea Citation Index Research Foundation. The journal in which the most papers were published is the Korean Society of Beauty, followed by the Korean Society of Beauty and Arts Management and the Korean Society of Human Beauty and Arts. As for the type of leadership, the number of studies dealing with self-leadership that can increase the efficiency of the organization by managing oneself was the highest. Among the main keywords used in the titles of domestic academic papers, 20 key keywords with more than four appearances were identified in the order of self-leadership and second worker, and self-leadership, commitment, and job satisfaction were high as a result of examining connection, mediation, and proximity for key keywords. Self-leadership to actively and flexibly adapt to and cope with the rapidly changing environment is emphasized through this study, and this study is of theoretical significance in that it provides developmental implications for changes in the domestic leadership paradigm and research trends and future research directions and topics in the leadership field.

Abstract
