본 연구는 S대 경영부동산 전공 성인학습자 178명을 대상으로 교육 내용, 교수진, 교육 방법, 교육환경 요인이 교육과정 만족도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 조사 대상 표본은 재직자 비율이 높고 이러닝 및 원격수업 경험이 풍부한 집단으로 구성하여 시간적･공간적 제약 속에서 학습을 병행하는 성인학습자의 특성을 비교적 충실히 반영하고 있어 성인 학습자 중심 교육과정의 핵심 요인을 더욱 현실적으로 도출할 수 있었다. 상관분석과 회귀분석 결과, 교수의 전문성과 강의 역량이 교육과정 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났으며, 이는 성인학습자가 실무 연계성 및 전공 적합성을 중시하는 경향과 일치한다. 또한 하이플렉스(HyFlex) 운영 방식, 평가의 공정성과 명확성, 기초교육및 전공 교육의 체계성, 장학제도 역시 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인되었다. 특히 하이플렉스 수업 방식은 시간과 장소의 제약이 큰 성인학습자의 학습 환경과 부합하 며, 학습 접근성과 지속성을 높이는 데 긍정적인 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 단순한 온라인 제공을 넘어, 학습 선택권과 유연성을 보장하는 교육 운영 방식의 중요성을 시사한다. 종합적으로 볼 때, 성인학습자의 교육과정 만족도는 교수 전문성을 기반으로 한 강의 품질, 학습 접근의 유연성, 신뢰할 수 있는 평가 체계, 그리고 경제적 부담을 완화하는 제도적 지원 으로 결정됨을 실증적으로 확인하였다.
Abstract
This study empirically examined the effects of educational content, faculty, teaching methods, and educational environment on curriculum satisfaction among 178 adult learners majoring in Business Real Estate at University S. The sample consisted largely of employed learners with extensive experience in e-learning and distance education, appropriately reflecting the characteristics of adult learners who pursue their studies under time and spatial constraints. Correlation and regression analyses indicated that faculty expertise and instructional competence had the strongest influence on curriculum satisfaction, consistent with adult learners’ emphasis on practical relevance and major alignment. In addition, the HyFlex instructional model, fairness and clarity of evaluation methods, the systematic structure of foundational and major courses, and scholarship support were identified as significant determinants of satisfaction. In particular, the HyFlex approach was well aligned with adult learners’ learning conditions, positively enhancing learning accessibility and continuity. Overall, the findings confirm that adult learners’ curriculum satisfaction is shaped by instructional quality based on faculty expertise, flexibility in learning access, fair evaluation systems, and institutional support that reduces financial burden.
