AI 어시스턴트와 인간 비서의 협업에 대한 탐색적 연구

This study explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistants on the secretarial work environment, focusing on the evolving collaboration and role division between human secretaries and AI systems. With the rapid adoption of AI tools such as chatbots, voice assistants, and document automation platforms, the secretarial role has expanded from administrative support to advanced functions including data management, scheduling, and organizational communication. The study models how functional and relational roles are redistributed in this human–AI collaboration. A qualitative research design was applied, involving semi-structured interviews with 12 secretarial professionals in corporations and public institutions. Thematic analysis using NVivo 14 revealed that AI assistants primarily performed technical, accuracy-oriented tasks, while human secretaries focused on contextual and emotional coordination, demonstrating functional complementarity. As automation deepened, secretaries shifted from routine task performers to strategic communicators. Participants also reported both job anxiety and opportunities for professional growth. This research highlights the redefinition of secretarial identity in the AI collaboration era and offers practical implications for future secretarial education and organizational role design.
