공공기술 도입 민간기업의 기술사업화가 성과에 미치는 영향- R&D 재발견프로젝트사업을 중심으로

This study empirically examines the impact of technology commercialization by private firms adopting public technologies on their business performance. The analysis is based on panel data from 146 firms that participated in government-supported technology commercialization programs between 2015 and 2022, comprising 593 observations. A fixed-effects panel regression model was employed to control for firm-specific characteristics. The empirical results indicate that R&D investment, the duration of commercialization efforts, and firm size have significant and positive effects on sales performance. In contrast, variables such as government support, the amount of government and private funding, patent holdings, the presence of corporate research centers, and participation in technology transfer or cooperative institutions did not show statistically significant effects. These findings suggest that government support itself does not directly contribute to short-term financial performance; rather, strengthening internal innovation capacity and sustaining long-term commercialization processes play a more critical role in generating outcomes. This study contributes to identifying the performance factors of private firms adopting public technologies and provides implications for improving future technology commercialization policies.
